Description
This Belted Kingfisher has been one the hardest birds for me to capture since I started photography. I see this bird on a constant basis and despite my best efforts I always end up with blurry photos a lot. I got lucky this day or I learned how to properly photograph these birds. I got it focus while perched on a branch and followed him as it took off. Taken at Shelley Lake in Raleigh, North Carolina
